A. Get Day Tool Kit
This program uses the Common Era Calendar which is similar to the Gregorian Calendar except that
instead of numbering years B.C./A.D. the astronomical system of year numbering is used. Thus,
year 0 shall be used in place of 1 B.C.
The actual day of event in any period from year "0" to year "9999" will be shown after you have
supplied the data for numeric day of the month, month and year. This can be handy when tracing
the actual day of birth or planning years ahead of an oncoming event.
Calendars were devised to approximate the lengths of time in relation to the cyclic movements of
the moon, earth and sun. Also, changing seasons were considered for the divisions of a year. It
is worthy to appreciate life with nature. One example of this, is expressed in the writings below.
We praise You, Lord, for all Your creatures,
especially for Brother Sun,
who is the day through whom You give us light.
And he is beautiful and radiant with great splendor,
of You Most High, he bears your likeness.
We praise You, Lord, for Sister Moon and the stars,
in the heavens you have made them bright, precious and fair.
The Canticle of the Creatures.
-Francis of Assisi (1181-1226)

B. Days Apart Wizard
This program uses the Common Era Calendar which is similar to the Gregorian Calendar except that
instead of numbering years B.C./A.D. the astronomical system of year numbering is used. Thus,
year 0 shall be used in place of 1 B.C.
The number of days may be the simplest method of measuring time; this online service will
generate the number of days apart between supplied dates. All you have to do is supply the
specific reference date and target date; this program will accept any date from year "0" to year
"9999". This can be helpful when finding the age in number of days or the number of days to
lapse before a date.
This service is available only for users using a JavaScript-enabled browser.
C. Moon Phase Calendar
This program generates a Moon Phase Calendar according to your input year. Computed output data
for dates of new moon and full moon occurrences only indicate approximate time values of actual.
Computations and output are based in Gregorian calendar system for years 1583 to 3500 and Julian
calendar system for years 0 to 1582. Time zone here is based on Greenwich Mean Time (GMT); to
convert the date and time output to your local time zone, add/subtract the offset from the GMT
output.
The moon has been one of the most common references in forming calendars. Though it is smaller
than the sun, it is the nearest large, moving, natural, mass to earth. Its gravitational pull
has great effect on the seas and oceans.
Lo! The moon glows silver
in night's vast indigo sky
and twinkling stars are scattered.
Sages and scientists have observed,
each moon cycle completes
nearly a month.
When the moon is near our dwelled planet,
the sea waters are beckoned.
The waters move from shorelines
and form tides.
The wind combs tirelessly
the surface of the sea.
Ceaseless waves move toward the shore.
The sea, as always, cheers forever.

D. Distance Conversion Scroll Bars
This program generates values and scroll bars for conversion of distance from Metric System to
U.S. or English System and vice versa. It is handy and flexible; and may be useful for fast
distance conversions when you are traveling from country to country that use different units.
The scroll bars have spans of 0 to 10,000 units. Value for conversion is directly entered over
the old one and "Enter" key is pressed to obtain a converted value. A converted value may also
be obtained by moving a slider of a scroll bar; change in displayed values are relative with
the scroll bars.
This service is available thru a browser that is compatible with Java and JavaScript.
